Interactive Stories

MakeBook takes input from students or other users, and adds it to an HTML file in the order you specify. The user types in his/her name, email address, and some text. The program then adds the text to the ongoing story file and allows the user to immediately view his/her entry. You also have options to choose whether to show the date of each submission, the names and email addresses of contributors and whether to email you each submission, and whether or not to require approval of submissions. You may also choose whether new entries should be placed at the beginning of the file or at the end. MakeBook can also be used as a guestbook, where you can moderate entries to help avoid spam....

Free interactive online story script, making truely individual adventures.

This program allows your users (surfers) to add to a story and have it instantly put on the web via a "build" page feature. Admin section allows you to edit and delete submissions as well as block IP's from submitting to your story. You also have the option of allowing only 1 submission per day from any IP number....

This "Interactive Story" script allows users to not only add their parts of a story, but also change the previously written part to a certain extent. While more and more portions of text are being added, the older portions are being saved as "History" - which is not the subject to change. But the story's "tail" may be edited at any time....

This script allows any user to write an interactive story. Users read a page of the story, then select one of two links to decide what happens next. Eventually, they reach the end of what has been written so far. Then they can write their own addition to the story. It can also send an email notification to admin whenever a new chapter is added....
