Creates a 1 pixel wide/tall gradient from the selected color to transparent, rotates it 90,180,270 degrees and displays all four. No restrictions on use of generated gradients. Also displays the ImageMagick command line used to generate the gradient. Use 1. Choose the color using the pallete or enter it in as a hex code. If you enter it as a hex code, you can use HSV to adjust it. You may also type in the text of a color (for example: "blue"), then blur the color input (click outside the ColorPicker), and the ColorPicker will use that color. 2. I wrote 3 tools all at different times. One was to convert these bulky TIFF images a photographer gave me to JPEGs that I could access in Photoshop without my computer tiring and dying. The second tool was just a batch JPEG compressor to optimize high quality JPEGs for the web. The last tool was built for renaming files and removing characters that you would not want in file names on the web (things like ? ! and ). Packing all these tools together with a simple interface created RJGIS. RJGIS will read and write JPEGs. RJGIS is available in both a self installing executable and zipped file. This is a free, hosted utility that reads an image, extracts the colors, then allows you to supply your CSS colors (sed extraction script provided), and generates sed commands to change the colors in your CSS files to match those of the image. You can use it to quickly map a design comp's colors into an application skin, or take a screenshot of an existing site and map them into your CSS files.
