Let me just say this:

You can cook a hamburger so that taste like the best steak-hamburger ever cooked. It can be the best hamburger in the world. You want to show it to a couple of people so they can experience how special it is... for them to enjoy the texture and flavors. You have two way of doing that.
You can dress it up, put it on a fine plate so they can see it the way it was meant to be seen. You can put it around nice dressing and server that hamburger as if it was meant for a king. When they finally get to taste it, they emotionally feel its special and love the taste. Your the winner! Or you can throw in on the table and say, "Here's the damn hamburger!
Which one is going to get better reviews before they even get to taste it? Which one deserves a good review?
I don't know how you do this in Japan, but in America jack, this is an honorable way:

It's called old fashion customer service. It comes from open healthy communications, being honest, and sticking behind what you offer without a childish emotional "attitude". By doing so, you get good reviews and people can enjoy the flavors of what you offer, and in return you get more sales of HAPPY people tell others how great it was. Plus by listening instead of an attitude, you can make your product better, along with being more marketable. "Business 101"

I told him, the program I received clearly says on all pages:
** PHP121 is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License etc..... I just mentioned so he would know, as a favor.. Was not my issue. I questioned him on the general file company names that most programmers include. I am talking all the path and image files named 121phpconfig and 121beep, and inside the script constant $121php.php paths.... Making it hard to remove inside script unless your advanced to do so. Its one thing to remove name 121phpconfig to $121_phpconfig. vs. not knowing in script to change _config or just config,.. in codes for paths to work when just changing the path name, ect.... Most the times one can just mod the config.php and it would work. His, one would have to change every page for he also used ($121config) ($121phpdb) in the codes vs just config.
so, if this is not an issue by being able to fix without rewriting all this, he surely would not let me know and got upset because I said most scripts are not done this way that I have bought and I mentioned that paying more to take the link off is pointless if he can not tell me how to change the link paths without changing all the script files. And he choose to call me names nasty names in email instead. of answering my question & focusing on getting me up and going on this like a professional in business resolving, & what could have lead to a good review.
I told him I would install and give it a try even after the above. I used manual to install. I followed each step. It did not install correctly with current path. I went to forum. Saw most questions unanswered. So I emailed him directly. it was not clear Because of the issues being unanswered his and his communications of teenager running form issue vs. a business resolving an issue, it lead me back here.
I don't know what else to do but to let others know my own experience before they buy and find them self in my situation. He has had opal opportunity to come back and make good this review or any misunderstandings like a man instead of emotional chip on his shoulder. I do not mind if I am wrong, and its explained to me from another perspective. I told him this. If we resolve a problem, there is no problem. A problem is only when one ignores it and it manifest. His customer service way of dealing with that was sending me an email that simple that said, and I quote "ignoring"..
What kind of childish business attitude resolves problems this way & so quickly?

if one pays extra to take link off, it is really only an illusion in the way he has it set up unless your advanced programmer who has the time to change over all the file and codes pointing at such. If I was wrong, he could have simply written back, no you can lalalala.... Many people buy scripts for private sites as I mentioned this in my email 2 minutes after I got it and unzipped it. I told him I could not use it this way and ask about it. He never acknowledged it other than saying it was so it did not confuse other files. I know its in its own main folder and therefore would not have been an issue having installed before. Again, I do know just enough basics to gent the difference of a couple of files in company name vs. all the main files and their script code names being done that way for open market. "it can be acknowledgement and file set ups or in his case, seem more like a marketing tactic". Little things like this matter to consumers, just like removal of credit links do to the programmers without pay vs. that credit due them. Even if he offered to install it himself, I could not trust someone like that in my files.
My bottom line in final opinion & review:
item and programmer >>> still sits >>> if you don't mind sharing your site with all his company links in your paths or your advanced to change it, ""it is what it is"" , and if you don't mind dealing with someone immature and sharp, than this is the program for you. And he called this review a THREAT? Great custom service coming from Japan there Paul. You have had opal opportunity to come back and turn this into a fantastic review if you stood behind what you offer. Plus, Half your business when dealing with consumers is attitude. Ask any customer & they will tell you that. When your willing to deal with issues as a solution person instead of a teenager chip, you might just find yourself at the top of this list if the product is also good. But consumers seek both incase they do have a question or issue. I have had issues in my own biz. Does not everyone? I put myself in their shoes and try to resolve to best ability with limits allowed. By doing so, you do have happy customers.
